Chidswell Door Knob Set

The inspiration for the Chidswell range was taken from a single doorknob salvaged from the library doors of Chidswell House, near Halifax. The segmented handle is hand carved ebonised hard wood with hand cast brass mounts and decorated backplate patinated in antique brass finish. While the house was essentially Victorian, the fluted dome design of these handles is typical of early 19th Century patterns. Matching keyhole escutcheons are available separately.
