18th century oak gets its beauty from its rich dark brown colour. Over hundreds of years it slowly darkens from the exterior inwards, this results in a beautifully uneven brown. Due to the woods innate colour no staining is required, this natural colour when waxed outlines the authenticity that only natural ageing can achieve.
